    Hi, I have an odd request.....my Grandfather, Michael (Mickey)Holland, was a member of the Fairhill Harriers and I have a photo of the group dated 1949, the first photo I have seen of my Grandfather.He died in 1963 and I am trying to find any info or photos of him. Does the club have an email or Clubhouse that I could contact or does anyone know of someone I could possibly contact. Desperate to find out more, please help.

      HI Clare i live in england but am back and forth to cork many times throughout the year , ill look through the book 100 years of draghunting and see if there is anything in it regarding your grandfather , also im in ireland in 2 weeks time ill try to get some contacts for you & some info if possible .

      That's great, thank you so much!!!! I was in Cork last week and that's how I managed to get a copy of the photo I mentioned. I hope to go back in the New Year for a couple weeks to find out more. But the more I can research now before I go back will help so much. I know my Grandfather was from Gurranabraher area if that is any help. Any info you find out or contacts would be fab! Thank you so so much.

      hi clare , i have been looking through some old books & i only found one picture of fair hill which i think is the same picture you have from 1949, i have asked a couple of the younger lads in the sport if they could ask there fathers & grandfathers if they could find any thing out for you,as soon as i hear back ill update .regards
