A great weekends drag hunting hosted by Clogheen saw the Mayfield Harriers pick up 9 tickets across three grades of hounds, in the pups Bernie & grandson Kyle's son of mossy & mossy's son had a one two, with highlander of mayfield taking the 3rd ticket, the minor tickets went to Fair Hill, S&C Harriers and the IHT.

In the Senior hounds it was the bang in form Midday charm who completed a hat-rick of wins in the opening three meetings of the 2016 campaign, bounty took 2nd place with Denise Rall's son of magic taking 3rd spot, John O'Callaghan's AWOL picked up another 4th place ticket after his 4th in the opening drag hunt meet of the season, Mossy 5th & Kieran lynch's Awesome picking up the final ticket of the day.
Maiden honours of the day went to John O'Callaghan's Blackholm, this gutsy little hound has her ups and downs in the sport over the last couple of seasons & john has put of lot of time & work into getting her going again,the consistent kennel of Timmy mac's Shears-park hounds picked up 2nd place Kerry pikes dark destroyer took 3rd & the minor tickets went to S&C Harriers & Mayfield Harriers.
Next weekend the traditional Easter meets are hosted by S & C Harriers on Sat 26th march & Easter Monday is the M O'Mahony-Blackpool open drag hunt.
